As much as I would like to be able to use one of the softwares above, I decided that the next best alternative to continuing my exploration of GarageBand would be to buy a drum kit that contains many of the trap sounds that I would like to use. Of course, the three programs aren’t free, so GarageBand still dominates the market for casual music creators. Check out their websites by clicking on the pictures. Other programs like BTV Solo, Dub Turbo, and FL Studio are geared towards helping producers create different styles of beats, and many of the loops and instruments included in these applications are specifically made for hard-hitting trap sounds. GarageBand falls a little bit short when compared to other beat making softwares available in terms of allowing individuals to full customize their own beats.
